Hi George,

Thanks for the information with respect to Duck Lake. My wife and I own the cottage ("Pink Cottages") right across from the Duck Lake dock, so I will be careful, but we are probably going across good ice. I know I need to watch out by Sucker Creek.

Thanks again, we plan on being back the first weekend in March. Will definitely need to make a stop at Roxies for some food.

Have a good weekend.

Good Morning Brad nice to hear from you. Looks like you are in for a nice weekend. I talked to Al and Kerry good friends and members of the Local Services Board and both said that Duck Lake, has
No slush and on the travelled portions there is probably 14 to 16 inches of ice.
Not sure about the rest of the lake but as anything one has to take care. I am thinking you will catch your limit this weekend. Have a great day. George W

Hello there,

Just wondering what Duck Lake is looking like if you know. We are going up ice fishing this weekend, but have to cross the ice to get there. I'm sure there is some slush, but wondering how deep the ice is. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rick good to hear from you. Well we do have snow but for the past two or three days now it has been melting some. The trails are open and most of the lakes are frozen over, one just has to take care. Especially where water is moving under the ice. Might get a flurry tonight but not much. Temperatures will stay cool after today but not much snow in the forecast till next weekend. Hard to believe this is almost the middle of Feb. already. We have had a lot of snow this winter, but with the milder temperatures it melts pretty fast. Well you have a great day, just headin' out to my shop to put another log in the old stove.
Hi there! We have a cottage on Seagull Lake and were just wondering if you could tell us what the weather conditions are, are the lakes staked, trails open? We are coming up on Family Day weekend and are wondering what to expect? How much snow do you have and are you expecting more? We are actually staying out on Little Long Lake. Thanks so much for your help! Hope to hear from you soon!
